ICE Plan of Action

 

* Note * Not all of this will seem necessary but in times of trade & barter you'll be happy you have it.  Atleast 2 of each item!

Food

• Pump supplies-  insulin, alcohol wipes, reservoirs, mio's, spare batteries.
• Misc.-  cold packs, glucose tablets, ketone strips, sick days guidelines, carb guidelines, phone #'s for Dr, Diabetic Supply Center & Costco pharmacy as well as some back up pharmacy's.
• Plan for ICE- can we go to Camp Williams for supplies?

Sanitation / Cleaning Supplies / Personal Hygiene

• Camode- bucket, bucket toilet seat lid & camping toilet / toilet paper / good trash bags / clorox or equivalent / wipes / air freshener (no aerosols).
• Vinegar / bleach / baking soda
• Toilet paper /  paper towels / wipes
• Tothbrushes / toothpaste / floss / mouthwash
• Q-tips / cotton rounds
• Shampoo / conditioner / waterless shampoo
• Bar soap / body wash / babywash
• Lotion / chap stick / vaseline
• Deodarant (or ingredients to make home made- cornstarch, baking soda, coconut oil)
• Trash bags
• Spray bottles / scowering pads / rags / rubber gloves
• Washboards, mop bucket w/wringer (for laundry)
• Feminine hygiene

• Shaving / grooming supplies- razors, shaving cream, scissors

Fire / Heat Sources / Fuel / Light / Cooking Essentials

• Cotton balls stretched, covered in Vaseline then inserted into straws.  Use heat to seal ends of straws.  Straws can be cut down to smaller sizes.
• Fire proof matches (matches dipped in fingernail polish), matches.
• ? gallons of unleaded (vehicles & chainsaw) ? gallons of diesel torpedo heater
• Flashlights, candles, lanterns
• Camp Chef / filled propane bottles
• Lamp oil, wicks, lamps, lanterns, glow sticks, candles
• Fire extinguishers (or large box of baking soda in each room).
• Heater head for propane tank
• Tent heater with propane bottles

• Music with cd player & batteries to play it.

Gardening

• Sprouting supplies-  baskets
• Micro green supplies-  soil
• Seeds, seeds, seeds, & more seeds!

• Plastic containers / pots
• Painters plastic to create a green house

Sheltering-In Supplies (Mi-Mi's room)

• Designated room with plastic pre-cut for each window & door with a roll of duct tape to secure to walls.  Towels for heating vents & plastic pre-cut as well.
• Hand held radio (gps ?) & flashlights with extra batteries,
• 72 hour kits (go bags) in designated area.
• Sanitation bucket-  5 gal bucket w/ lid, toilet paper, 40+ good quality trash bags, clorox or equivalent, wipes, air freshener (no aerosols).  In designated room, can be used as an end table with a piece of glass of wood on top draped with some decorative cloth.
• 72 hours worth of food / water for each family member.  Can be put in 5 gal buckets & used as end tables.
• Plug all drains & put water in all drains.
• Respirators for all family members or atleast good quality dust masks.
• Tools-  ?
• Bedding- 6 cots in specified area, blankets, pillows if possible.
• Diapering needs- diapers, wipes, butt cream
• Bucket for general washing with an all-purpose soap
• Feel good supplies-  chocolate, music, scriptures, hymn book, card game etc...
• Remember there is also a lot of items in the 72 hour kits (go bags).  ie 1st aid kit, clothing

 Cash (add $1.oo per person each week, in either $1 bills or quarters)

• $6,000 +  Some in gun safe, while some is in each 72 hour kit (go bag).
